GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) - West Michigan singers lined up for hours for their chance to become the next WOTV Idol. Auditions were held in Kalamazoo on September 11th and then again in Grand Rapids on September 13th. Talented hopefuls got a chance to prepare a :30 singing performance for the WOTV Idol judges, Matt Giraud (former American Idol Top 5), Aly Mac from B93, and Carly Munoz (Brand Manager WOTV).
The West Michigan contestants are competing for an American Idol Silver Ticket which will get them a trip to an official American Idol judging city and straight to the executive producers of the show. Once in front of the producers contestants will get to sing and hopefully move on to the celebrity judges.
