Grab any kind of sweater, from one of 20 Goodwill’s stores. We chose a cable knit sweater with a cowlneck for a warm, cozy look.
First, lay the sweater flat and decide which part of the sweater you would like your scarf to come from. With our sweater, both the cowlneck and bottom half could be used in this DIY project. If you are using the cowlneck, cut beneath the hem of the neck, for the bottom half of the sweater, cut just below the armpits.
If the sweater frays, use fabric glue to fold the cut section under so that the frays are no longer visible. It’s ime to rock your new scarf!
