GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) - This DIY is great for all ages! A hot new look for fall - jeans with detail at the bottom. Ankle length and full length are both options, it just depends on what you like best. Find a great pair of jeans at one of Goodwill's 20 stores and shirt that has some sort of macrame or bohemian pattern .
Just a quick tip... Jersey cotton does not work well for this up-cycle. Cut jeans to the length you prefer. Next, cut the macrame to desired width. Measure the circumference of the bottom of the jeans and cut the fabric about 1/8" longer than measurement. Glue the macrame with the ends on the inside seams of the jeans. Make sure to use enough glue.
Let sit for an hour or so and you are ready to sport a great new look that is one of a kind!
