DIY two piece dress

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) - Two piece dresses are all the rage! Find a long dress, either a maxi or t-length at Goodwill. Jersey cotton works the best.

Cut the dress where you want the bottom of your “top” to end. Fold the cut bottom of the top underneath and glue so there are no frays. If “skirt” is too long cut to desired length. Add a slit for greater detail. Be sure to glue the seams under if you attempt the slit. Fold the top of the skirt underneath and glue so there are no frays. Repeat with the bottom of the skirt.

Throw a jean jacket over for a night out or a day with the girls!
