Program teaches kids the value of exercise

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Students around West Michigan are learning how to get fit while earning fun rewards! The Fifth Third River Bank Run Feelin’ Good Mileage Club is happening at elementary schools across West Michigan.

The program encourages kids to walk, run, or jog during recess. Any kids who complete five miles or more during the club gets a free entry into Fifth Third Junior in May. Schools that participate in the program get merchandise and other incentives to reward the children.
