9 tips to prepare for race season

It’s officially race season in West Michigan, and Priority Health’s great tips will get us to the start line.

Don’t introduce anything new to your diet. Be sure to stay hydrated. Don’t get a pedicure? Some of these tips you may have heard before and others may surprise you! The bottom line? You have to trust the training you’ve done and have fun!

Race Day Tips

  • Hydrate
  • Don’t introduce anything new
  • Get lots of rest
  • Be social
  • Be photo ready
  • Trim toenails but no pedicures
  • Lay your race day gear out the night before
  • Thank the volunteers
  • Write down any medical information
