Prevent addiction: setting healthy and reasonable “Fortnite” boundaries

Maranda

Fortnite is one of the biggest online games out there with more than 40m players worldwide; therefore, chances are either your children or their friends are already passionate fans.

Being one of the biggest online games, it’s also one of the most addicting games.

How do you keep them from playing for hours… and hours…and, well, forever?

  1. Set up healthy time limits. Inside the app, you can limit screen time by enabling time limits under the options menu.
  2. Disable the chat feature to help prevent bullying and dangerous interactions with strangers.
  3. Prevent in-app purchases by turning off the feature in your settings.
