Experts from around the state gathered together for the Michigan Learning Connections Summit. The topic? Kids are better with breakfast.
When they are well fed, students are more focused, well-nourished and better learners. Schools are working to create stronger breakfast programs to address the issues facing children in poverty.
Conversations at the summit helped the community come together to support children’s health, including The Fuel Up to Play 60 program. This program empowers kids to stay active and eat healthy.
In partnership with the United States Department of Agriculture and the National Dairy Council, the National Football League educates kids to improve their health!
