From street performers to circus stage acts, Festival Market Square will be packed with jugglers, storytellers, dancers, acrobats, and more, including a 3 part choreographed act “ittie bitti littie Nutcracker!” On this day of merriment and fun, attendees won’t know who to watch first! Come see what the “GLOvation Troupe” has to offer!

Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus on the Kalamazoo Mall.
While visiting with Santa, families can color, write letters to Santa (so he can remember the list!), also enjoy musical performances on Fridays, cookie decorating on Saturdays, Crafts on Sundays.

Enjoy FREE rides throughout downtown Kalamazoo on and old fashion trolley, beautifully decorated for the holiday season.

Reminiscent of years gone by, this traditional Dutch folk event celebrates Sinterklaas, the benevolent St. Nicholas. Listen to stories, make a Dutch lantern, and play family games at the Holland Armory (16 West 9th Street) beginning at 6:00 pm. Sinterklaas will arrive on his great white horse shortly after 7:00 p.m. to lead children and their families on procession to Centennial Park, where he will greet the crowd and lead the lighting of the Christmas tree. Afterward, join Sinterklaas at the Holland Museum (31 West 10th Street) for photo opportunities, holiday crafts in the galleries, and tasty cocoa and cookies.
Sunday, December 9
Bring the kids and join Mac from Star 105.7 as he reads his favorite holiday story, The Polar Express. Come down in your PJs, sip cocoa, tour the museum, and check out the former Breton Village Train at its new home in the Ford Museum’s lobby! This free event begins at 2:00 p.m., story time at 2:15 with cocoa and coloring to follow!
