Holland Hospital’s Breast Care Fund helps women receive free mammograms

Holland Hospital

Mammograms are one of the best detectors for early onset breast cancer, so women 40 years and older are recommenced to schedule an annual mammogram. Due to the cost of mammograms, many women are not receiving the care they need. Even for women who do have insurance, a high deductible often prevents them from scheduling an annual mammogram.

At Holland Hospital, the Breast Care Fun helps women who are unable to pay, receive many breast care services free of charge. This fund helps cover the cost of mammograms, diagnostic imaging and pathology services for patients with little to no insurance. Through private donations and grants, this fund helps remove the financial barriers that deter women from seeking necessary and important breast care services.
