The holidays are here, which means it’s a great time to give back to others. For children, the season is about the magic of Santa, sugary sweet candy canes and picture-perfect snowfalls. So lets help continue the magic for local children in need.
iHeartMedia’s 104.5 SNX is partnering with The Salvation Army of West Michigan, and has announced the second annual Stuff-A-Bus, a toy drive to benefit children in the West Michigan area. Sponsors for the event include Meijer and BIGGBY Coffee of West Michigan.
Starting Monday, December 10 at 6 a.m. through Friday, December 14 at 6 p.m., 104.5 SNX’s on-air personalities will broadcast live from a school bus parked by Cottonwood Center in Jenison. Community members are asked to stop by and bring a new unwrapped toy to benefit children in throughout the community. Toys will be distributed by The Salvation Army of West Michigan just in time for Christmas.
In addition, all West Michigan BIGGBY Coffee locations will collect additional toys from Friday, November 23 until Thursday, December 13.
“Stuff-A-Bus is an opportunity to give back to the families of West Michigan during the holiday season,” said Tim Feagan, Market President for iHeartMedia West Michigan. “We look forward to partnering with The Salvation Army of West Michigan, Meijer and Biggby Coffee for another year.”
Last year, the inaugural Stuff-A-Bus toy drive collected over 2 buses worth of toys for children in the community.
