Is your brand being represented the way you want it to on social media? If the answer is no, I can assure you you’re not alone!

Branding is not always easy — and in a day in age where social presence rules success, it’s worth the time and dedication to get it right.

If you’re starting a business, revamping an old one, or just simply trying to get YOUR personal journey and message across, here are few key starting points…

(1) Choose the right networks

If you’re not gaining traction on some of your platforms, it might not be your fault! It all comes down to knowing your audience — ask yourself, who is interested in what I’m “selling”? Are they male, female? What age group would they classify with?

Once you have your audience nailed down, select social media platforms that your audience is active on, for best results in engagment.

(2) Visuals branding is key!

We all have our favorite celebrities, cooking pages, and home decor inspo we love to stalk. Why is it that these same few pages draw our eyes every time? Often, it’s due to visual appeal. Color palettes, logos, and filter decisions can make all the difference when it comes to branding.

It’s also important to note that people love consistency — customers especially love consistency.

Why is that?

Well, it’s because they know what they’re getting every time.

Choose your theme, color palette… the whole 9 yards, and STICK TO IT. Keeping content cohesive will create credibility in the long run.

(3) & finally, develop your voice.

There’s nothing more boring than a page with 0 personality! When creating your brand, remember the most important part — your voice! Your great personality should shine through your posts.
