GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOTV) – Dancing With the Stars is already causing a ton of buzz with controversial celebs, tougher judges, and more glitz than ever before! Week 2 was no exception. Last night featured recaps and behind the scene looks at each couples journey to week 2. There was even an amazing group performance from the pros.
Then, the dominoes started to fall. First, crowd favorite, Laurie Hernandez and Val Chmerkovskiy were announced safe, as well as Rick Perry with Emma Slater. Next couple announced safe was, Marilu and Derek Hough. Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds also found out he will be sticking around another week.
After all that stress, a stunning number performed by Val Chmerkovskiy and Sharna Burgess with Charlie Puth and Daya, pumped up the audience. After a few more couples were announced as safe, that left Jake T. Austin, Ryan Lochte, and Maureen McCormick up for elimination.
So, the big question is, who was sent home first this season? Drum roll……Jake T. Austin.
