We couldn’t be more excited that The Bachelor is back! And after night one we already have a few questions…

  • What did Colton really think about the sloth costume?
  • When will the virginity jokes end?
  • And most importantly, did it hurt when he jumped that fence!?

The premiere was structured a bit differently this time around. The three-hour telecast took place LIVE at viewing parties hosted by Bachelor alums including Kaitlyn Bristowe, Ashley Iaconetti, Jared Haibon and JoJo Fletcher.

At the watch parties there were two proposals, a tribute to Chris Harrison (which brought America to tears) and an update on the Bachelor Nation babies.

Who brought the drama

Catherine made it quite clear from the beginning, she is here for Colton and only Colton. After her 3rd time interrupting the other girls’ conversations with the bachelor, Onyeka felt it was her responsibility to shut the nonsense down.

Onyeka pulled Catherine aside to tell her how her actions were affecting the other girls.

After their chat which should’ve took out the fire, only made it bigger.

Catherine went straight over to Colton to interrupt for the 4th time!!!! Breaking Bachelor history.

Who received the first impression rose

From the moment Hannah G batted her big, bambi eyes, Colton was a goner. During their first meeting in The Bachelor Mansion, Hannah G and Colton calmed each other’s nerves by breathing 3 times slowly, all while holding hands. It was clear they instantly bonded over this shared experience.

When Colton later came back with the first impression rose, she whispered to him “This just really solidified everything”.

Who did Colton kiss?

On the premiere of The Bachelor, Colton kissed three women: CaelynnKatie and Hannah G.

Who was sent home

Alex DDevinErinAdrianne “Jane,” LauraRevian and Tahzjuan were eliminated on night one.
