This is cool – head to this link and you’ll get an interactive map…you can zoom in and see when +1000 weather stations in the U.S. have had their first snow of the season. For instance, the earliest measurable snow at the Hardy Dam in Newaygo Co. was on Sept. 27, 1942 when 2″ fell. Miami, Key West and Fort Myers, Florida have never had measurable snow.
