This map from the Storm Prediction Center shows the severe weather risk for Wed. PM/night.  This map was updated early this (Wed.) AM.   We’re on the northern edge of the General (not severe) area (in light green.)

This is the Severe Weather Outlook Map for Thu. PM/night.  Tornado chasers head to North Dakota, where there is an Enhanced (in orange) risk area as a cool front moves in.  That front will be moving through West Michigan Sunday, bringing us a chance of storms.

Here’s storm reports from Sunday.  A gust of 105 mph was reported near Grinnell KS and there was one injury near the Kingsley Dam in SW Nebraska, where a gust to 83 mph was recorded and campers were rolled into a lake.  .

This is the map of storm reports for Monday 6 25 18.  Lots of blue dots indicating wind damage from Kentucky into South Carolina and Georgia.  One Boy Scout was killed in Georgia when a tree fell on his tent.  There were two small tornadoes with relatively little damage.

The storm reports map for Tue. is in the Tornadoes in Illinois and Wisconsin thread.
