Low Number of Severe Storms

This graph (made by Matt Kirkwood) shows the annual number of severe weather reports by year over the past several years.  As you can see, we’ve had fewer severe weather reports since 2014.  A severe report is either a tornado, a report of thunderstorm wind damage, a gust of 58 mph or higher or hail 1″ in diameter or greater.
