GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Already this season, we’ve hit the 70s with sunshine. The flowers are starting to pop from the ground and the buds are getting big on the trees. Still, snow fell Sunday.
The snowy conditions prompted dozens of churches to call off evening services and events.
1-5″ of accumulating snow is possible, with the highest amounts being further north in the advisory area. Some have already come in with several inches of snow. Reports as of 5pm. on Sunday were totalling at 5″ near White Cloud, 4″ in Muskegon, 2″ in Ada, and close to 2″ in Walker.
Snow will continue to stack up early overnight before stopping completely early Monday. Skies will clear with highs bouncing into the 50s Monday and near 60 for Tuesday and Wednesday meaning, this snow won’t stick around for long.
Highs on Sunday will be in the mid to upper 30s, but it will feel more like the 20s with a bitter wind.
