Here comes summer! Here’s the forecast high temperatures for the next 8 days…mid 70s, upper 70s to near 80 today (Tue.), then low-mid 80s from Wednesday – Saturday.

Sunday’s high temperature of 67° tied for 3rd warmest day this spring so far. The average high temperature for Sunday is 67°. We’ve now had 14 consecutive days that have been cooler than average….and we’ve only had 3 days in the last 5 weeks with more than 75% sunshine.

The tulips are peaking at just the right time for Tulip Time. With a warm spring, we might have had more stems than flowers by May 14 (Sat.), but the cool weather held blossoming back just enough to give us peak show here in the 2nd week of May. (pic. from Austin Hamilton).
