PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Parker Meadows hit an inside-the-park home run Friday night at Fifth Third Ballpark, but it was not enough as West Michigan lost to Great Lakes 4-3.
Meadows smacked a Loons pitch off the right-center field fence and then raced around the bases using a headfirst slide to cross home plate.
The Whitecaps could get no closer though.
