GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On Saturday, the Grand Rapids Griffins moved into sole possession of the first place spot in the AHL Central Division for the first time this season.

On Sunday, head coach Ben Simon stopped by Sports Overtime to talk about the climb back to the top after a slow start to the season and what’s ahead for the second half.

Simon also commented on the status of Filip Zadina, saying he’s pleased with the progress from the top prospect for the Detroit Red Wings.
