MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) — The Muskegon Lumberjacks fell to Chicago Tuesday in Game 2 of their opening round of the USHL Clark Cup playoffs.
The Lumberjacks lost 6-2. They allowed four second-period goals in surrendering a 1-0 lead.
Muskegon entered the last period down 4-1. The Chicago Steel scored two third-period goals and the Lumberjacks added one to bring the score to its final.
The best-of-three series is now tied 1-1. The Steel are the defending Clark Cup champions.
The two teams will play a deciding Game 3 at L.C. Walker Arena in Muskegon Wednesday. The puck drops at 7:15 p.m.
