GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Filip Hronek scored two goals in less than a minute to lead the Grand Rapids Griffins to a come-from-behind victory over the Manitoba Moose 2-1 Wednesday night at Van Andel Arena.
The game winner came with just 25 seconds left and followed Hronek’s game-tying goal at 1:21 of the third period.
Grand Rapids improves to 27-15-3-4 overall. The Griffins now own a four-point lead at the top of the Central Division. Iowa is second with 57 points.
The Griffins return to the home ice Saturday night hosting the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. The first puck drops at 7 p,m.
