MILWAUKEE (WOOD) — Despite losing to Milwaukee 5-0 Saturday night, the Grand Rapids Griffins qualified for the Calder Cup Playoffs for a franchise-record seventh consecutive season.

The Griffins surrendered three goals in the first minute and forty-eight seconds and ended up losing 5-0. With a victory or overtime loss, Grand Rapids would’ve clinched the playoff berth on its own.
