Barracuda shut out Grand Rapids Griffins

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Grand Rapids Griffins were held scoreless as they took on the San Jose Barracuda at home Friday night.

The Barracuda, who lead the AHL Pacific Division, blanked the Griffins 4-0. San Jose goalie Josef Korenar blocked 29 shots.

Now 24-14-3-4, the Griffins are tied with the Iowa Wild at the top of the AHL Central Division.

The Griffins and Barracuda meet again at Van Andel Arena Saturday.
