GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Football Frenzy is back!

The season kicked off Thursday night, although weather conditions postponed several games. More games are to come Friday.

We spotlighted these games:

  • Grandville beat Grand Blanc 41-13

  • Spring Lake beat Montague 34-28
  • Grand Ledge beat West Ottawa 37-30
  • Holland Christian beat Holland 42-6
  • Schoolcraft beat Comstock 45-0
  • Allendale beat Greenville 28-8
  • Hudsonville beat Howell 28-2

These games were postponed or canceled because of the weather:

  • Muskegon Oakridge at Sparta: The score was 0-0 at the first quarter
  • Stevensville Lakeshore at Zeeland West: Zeeland West led 16-0 at the first quarter
  • Muskegon Reeths-Puffer at Grand Haven: Muskegon Reeths-Puffer led 14-7 at the second quarter
  • Coopersville at Otsego: Coopersville led 14-0 at the first quarter
  • Cedar Springs at East Grand Rapids
  • Loy Norrix at Kalamazoo Central
  • Hamilton at Plainwell
  • East Lansing at Portage Central
  • Portage Northern at Vicksburg
  • Williamston at Zeeland East
  • Mattawan at Lowell
  • Grant at Kelloggsville
  • Forest Hills Northern at Wyoming

The weather also led some games, like Schoolcraft at Comstock, to push back their kickoff times.

There’s more high school football coming up on Friday, with the Frenzy spotlighting Rockford at Muskegon, Caledonia vs. Romeo in the Battle at the Big House and Grand Rapids West Catholic at Edwardsburg.
