ORONOKO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — An estate near Berrien Springs that used to belong to legendary boxer Muhammad Ali has been sold.
The home sold Dec. 21 for $2.5 million, according to the real estate agency handling the sale.
Located on Kephart Lane just outside the village, the 100-year-old farmhouse sits on 81 acres. It boasts three bedrooms, two full baths, a gym where Ali trained during the peak of his career, and a pool. Ali and his wife Lonnie Ali spent their retirement there.
The house also previously belonged to Al Capone lieutenant Louis Campagna.
The original asking price was nearly $2.9 million when the home went on the market in June 2018.
