UNION CITY, Mich (WOOD) — Police are looking for the people who stole golf carts from two different courses.

Authorities say the first incident happened late Monday night at the Turtle Creek Golf Course in Calhoun County’s Burlington Township, located about 19 miles southeast of Battle Creek.

Police say a group of unknown people cut a fence to enter the course, before stealing three carts by loading them onto a trailer.

Three golf carts were also stolen from the Alwyn Downs Golf Course in Marshall late Tuesday night.

Authorities say the incidents appear to be related.

Michigan State Police and the Marshall Police Department are both investigating.
