Empty house near South Haven destroyed in fire

SOUTH HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A vacant house south of South Haven burned Monday evening.

The fire was reported around 7:40 p.m. on 11th Avenue off of 76th Street in South Haven Township.

South Haven Area Emergency Services says the house was already engulfed in flames by the time fire crews arrived. It was destroyed.
Covert Township firefighters were also called in to help.

No one was hurt.
