SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) — A well-known Chicago pizzeria is coming to West Michigan.
Gino’s East told 24 Hour News 8 it plans to open its new South Haven shop at 248 Broadway St., north of Phoenix Street, this summer, though the exact date has not yet been determined.
Training for managers begins April 14.
Gino’s says it picked South Haven for its first Michigan location because it’s a popular vacation spot for Chicago-area residents.
Gino’s, which first opened in 1966, is known for its deep-dish pizza. If you can’t wait for the new South Haven restaurant to open to get a fresh Gino’s pizza, you can buy a frozen one at a local grocery store.
