ORONOKO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A Berrien Township teenager is facing a charge of threatening terrorism, according to the Berrien County prosecutor.
Michigan State Police arrested the 15-year-old boy Wednesday.
Prosecutor Michael J. Sepic says the teenager had been a student at Berrien Springs High School, however he did not disclose what type of threat was made. The FBI was among the agencies involved in the investigation.
The prosecutor’s office said despite the threat, investigators found no evidence suggesting violence from the teen was imminent.
The suspect remains at the Berrien County Juvenile Center awaiting arraignment.
