4 hospitalized after Cass Co. crash

NEWBERG TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Four people were taken to the hospital Friday after a crash in Cass County.

It happened around 11:25 a.m. at the intersection of M-40 and Dutch Settlement Road in Newberg Township.

A car was going west on Dutch Settlement Road when it hit a grain delivery truck. Authorities didn’t specify what caused the crash.

The driver and three passengers in the car were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Authorities said seat belts were used and the crash is under investigation.
