MILTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was killed and two other people were injured after a three-vehicle crash in Cass County Tuesday.
It happened shortly before 6 p.m. on US-12 near Frantz Drive in Milton Township, near the Indiana border.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office said a vehicle, driven by 31-year-old Ryon Koth, was heading eastbound on US-12 when he lost control and went into oncoming traffic. The vehicle was then struck by two westbound vehicles.
A passenger inside Koth’s vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The sheriff’s office identified the passenger as 52-year-old Joseph Johnson of Niles.
Koth and a driver of one of the westbound vehicles were taken to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown.
The sheriff’s office said the crash remains under investigation.
