Seltzer leads after day 1 of MI PGA Professional Championship


ADA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Defending champ Dan Urban of Gull Lake Country Club has some ground to make up after the first round of the Michigan PGA Professional Championship.

Urban, of Gull Lake Country Club, finished three over par at the Egypt Valley Country Club in Ada Monday. Urban played seven-time champion Scott Hebert, who finished the day two under, tying for fifth place.

John Seltzer of nearby Blythefield Country Club led the field with a score of 66, which is six under par, after the first round.>>Online: Leaderboard

Round two kicks off Tuesday at 8 a.m.
