ALLENDALE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — One woman was hospitalized after briefly being pinned in her car Saturday night.
It happened at 11:45 p.m. at the intersection of 68th Street and Warner Avenue near the Homegrown Market.
Police said a 31-year-old man stopped at a red light before proceeding into the intersection where he collided with the 20-year-old woman’s car.
Authorities say she was briefly pinned in her vehicle until Allendale fire crews arrived to pull her out. She was then taken to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital.
Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts. The man was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
