PARK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Two teenage boys are injured after crashing a motorcycle in Ottawa County.
Authorities were called around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday to 152 Avenue and Butternut Drive in Park Township.
Deputies say a 14-year-old boy was driving a motorcycle with a 15-year-old passenger. Both teens are from the Holland-area, police say.
The driver lost control and both teens were thrown off the motorcycle, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say the driver was airlifted to a hospital, but he is now in stable condition.
Deputies say the passenger was taken to the hospital by an ambulance and he is in stable condition.
Authorities say neither of the teens has a license. The motorcycle belongs to the driver’s older brother. Both boys were wearing a helmet, police say.
