Suspects arrested in Holland stabbing

HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people were arrested in connection to a stabbing early Saturday morning that injured two in Holland, dispatchers say.

The first call came in at 2:22 a.m. Police found two people with injuries at the Bay Pointe Apartments at 791 East 16th Street in Holland.

Authorities say one of the victims was treated and released at Holland Hospital and the other required surgery for wounds to the chest and stomach area. 

No additional information is available on the victim’s condition at this time.

While on scene, officers responded to a fight call at 739 Lincoln Ave. Officers determined that these two calls were related. 

Officers found two suspects from the stabbing at Bay Pointe Apartments at 739 Lincoln Ave., and both were arrested. One of the suspects was transported to Holland Hospital for injuries to his hand. 

Officers say another person received minor injuries during the altercation and was arrested on unrelated charges. 

This investigation is ongoing, further information will be released following additional interviews and suspects arraignment.
