GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Grand Haven Wednesday night.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says a 60-year-old Grand Haven man was struck by a vehicle just before 11 p.m. while walking eastbound along the shoulder of Robbins Road west of 168th Avenue by an eastbound 52-year-old Grand Haven man driving in a 2010 Audi A4.
The victim was transported to North Ottawa Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead, authorities say. The driver was not injured.
Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor in this crash.
The identities of the two men are not being released at this time. This incident remains under investigation by the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
