TALLMADGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was hospitalized Thursday after a crash that may have been caused by a medical condition.
It happened around 4:40 p.m. on Lake Michigan Drive at Linden Drive in Tallmadge Township, between Walker and Allendale.
Witnesses told the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said an eastbound car started swerving, eventually going off the road into the median.
Passersby provided lifesaving measures to the driver before emergency medical responders arrived and took over.
The condition of the driver, a 58-year-old Grand Rapids man, was not released Thursday night.
