Holland police investigate 7 downtown break-ins

HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — Holland police have stepped up patrols downtown after a series of break-ins at businesses.

The Holland Department of Public Safety says seven businesses have been burglarized since March 22. Police said all the businesses are in the area of 8th Street and College and River avenues, but didn’t list their names.

All the break-ins happened overnight.

Police say the thief targeted cash from registers and offices.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call police at 616.355.1150 or by emailing policetips@cityofholland.com. Tips may also be submitted to Silent Observer at 877.887.4536.
