HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — Police are investigating after multiple vehicles were stolen from two car dealerships in Holland Monday.

The Holland Department of Public Safety told News 8 that around 5:45 a.m. Monday an officer was patrolling near the Elhart GMC dealership, located at 822 Chicago Drive, when they noticed three vehicles pull out of the dealership then started a pursuit.

The HDPS cruiser reported reaching speeds of more than 100 mph during the chase, which ended on M-6 at the Kent County border.

At one point, one of the suspect vehicles hit another car. There were no reports of injuries, according to HDPS.

Two out of three vehicles were found in Kent County, according to HDPS.

No suspect information was released.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said authorities were called around 5:30 a.m. Monday for a report for a breaking and entering at the European Autohaus on 112th Avenue near I-196 in Holland Township.

Investigators found out a vehicle was stolen from the dealership. The vehicle was found a short time later in Grand Rapids.

No suspect information was released. The incident remains under investigation.

The incidents are believed to be related to other recent stolen vehicles from dealerships in Ottawa County and the Grand Rapids area, HDPS said in a news release.
