GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) — Super Bowl watchers in Grand Haven will have a new meal option this year: for the first time ever, Fricano’s Pizza Tavern will be accepting take-out orders.

The restaurant at 1400 Fulton Street says it’s breaking its “never open on Sunday” tradition to help raise money to renovate Grand Haven’s iconic musical fountain.

Fricano’s in Grand Haven says it will be handling take-out orders from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 3. Fans can place their order by calling 616.842.8640. The take-out service is available at the Grand Haven restaurant only.

Fricano’s says it will donate proceeds from the Sunday sales to the Grand Haven Musical Fountain’s campaign to replace its 25-year-old sound system and renovate the riverfront buildings housing the system.

So far, the Grand Haven Musical Fountain has raised $55,000 of its $150,000 goal. Donations to the campaign can also be made on the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation’s website.
