ZEELAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Part of a roadway in Ottawa County was closed Saturday after a piece of the road buckled.
It happened near the intersection of Chicago Drive and 72nd Avenue in Zeeland Township.
The Ottawa County Road Commission has blocked off one lane of eastbound Chicago Drive before 72nd Avenue while crews work to repair the issue. Crews on scene said it could take a few hours to fix.
Several crashes causing property damages have been reported and disabled vehicles are being towed away from the area.
Crews were also called to repair a road that buckled in South Haven, which closed the northbound ramp to I-196 from Phoneix road.
