WRIGHT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Four people were hospitalized, one of them in critical condition, after a crash that caused two vehicles to roll north of Marne Thursday.

The crash happened around 6:40 p.m. at the intersection of 24th Avenue and Roosevelt Street in rural Wright Township.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says a Honda CRV headed east didn’t stop at the sign, striking a northbound Ford Taurus. Both vehicles left the road and rolled over.

Emergency responders had to free the driver of the CRV, Linda Simmons. She was airlifted to a Grand Rapids hospital, where she was later listed in critical but stable condition.

The driver of the Taurus, 36-year-old Joshua Feldpausch, and his two children, ages 9 and 11, were all taken to the hospital via ambulance. All were listed in stable condition.

Everyone was wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash.
