ORLANDO, Fla. (WOOD) — A man is dead after an industrial accident near Walt Disney World’s Epcot theme park, local media is reporting.

WESH says firefighters and deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office discovered a worker had fallen near the France pavilion around 5:19 p.m. Tuesday.  He died at the scene.

The sheriff’s office identified the victim as 58-year-old George Walter Dewayne Grimes. It’s unclear what led to his fall, but deputies tell WESH there are no signs of foul play.

The local NBC station says it doesn’t appear any areas of the park were closed during the investigation. Some guests told WESH they heard sirens, but were not notified about the situation.

Walt Disney World has not yet released a statement regarding the incident.
