GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — April has been recognized as National Stress Awareness Month.

The goal is to bring attention to the negative impacts of stress and how it can be managed.

Casey Hughes, the senior vice president of neuroscience-based app Fresh Tri, talked to News 8 about some ways to deal with stress. Hughes has helped develop the trademarked iterative mindset method, a ‘practice and tweak’ approach to train your mindset and form good habits.

Those using the method are advised to try something they feel interested in, and then repeat it and perform it until that practice fits their life.
