MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) — Muskegon County’s first public dog park will make its grand opening on Saturday.

A dedicated event will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Downtown Muskegon PetSafe Bark Park, located at 973 W Western Ave. in Muskegon.

It will be open from dawn to dusk through the fall and accessible as winter weather allows in its first year.

The park includes drinking stations, secured entry areas to unleash dogs, benches, a picnic area and a small parking lot.
