The crash happened around 6:15 a.m. Monday in the 5600 block of Holton Road at Michillinda Road in Muskegon County’s Dalton Township, just south of Twin Lake.

A witness photo shows the semi-truck caught fire. The Muskegon County Sheriff’s Office tells 24 Hour News 8 the semi-truck driver was killed and has identified him as 57-year-old Ronald White of Muskegon.

The driver of the Hyundai Sonata was taken to Hackley Hospital in serious condition. The damaged car had an Illinois license plate, but authorities are withholding the driver’s identity.
