COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Police are looking for the suspect in a hit-and-run crash that sent a man to the hospital in Kalamazoo County.
Michigan State Police say a 62-year-old Galesburg man was walking on westbound I-94 in Comstock Township around 10:30 p.m. Friday then was reported to be lying down in the right lane of the highway, impeding traffic.
The victim was struck by a passing vehicle that failed to yield. He was taken to the hospital for his injuries, according to MSP. His condition was not released.
Police say the suspect vehicle would have damage to the lower front passenger side of the vehicle and was traveling in the right lane of westbound I-94.
The incident remains under investigation.
