Orion Construction is calling the state-of-the-art venue “downtown’s newest and most intimate live music and entertainment club.”

The entertainment space is part of plans for The Venue Tower, which business leaders broke ground on in February.

The 92,000 square-foot development is expected to feature 88 living units, including 44 one-bedroom apartments, 20 two-bedroom apartments and 24 “micro-lofts” – ultra-efficient studios under 500 square feet.

Phase three of the development, a Bavarian-style outdoor beer garden, will be built at a later date, developers said.

The Venue Tower is expected to be complete in spring 2017.
